Megan Rolland Assoc CIPD - Relationship Manager

Megan is an HR professional with over 7 years of best practice experience across Jersey, London, Luxembourg and most recently Australia. Her skillset has been enriched across various industries including fund administration, not-for-profit, healthcare, global enterprise/trade and education.

Megan is passionate about client service and finds the space where technology meets business-needs fascinating. She is well placed to support Offshore Payroll clients with an understanding of the payroll process and having recently led the rollout of a cloud-based Human Resource Information System and supported the implementation of a cloud-based payroll system within a 700-user environment. Megan holds a BSc degree in Biology and is an Associate Member of CIPD.

Adam Smith - Relationship Manager

Adam has 20 years’ experience in a vast array of digital and technology disciplines, deploying and building corporate, business locations around the world remotely from Jersey, replacing networking and server infrastructure and utilising cloud solutions. Adam has worked in multiple organisational and industry sectors and has demonstrated a capability to work with colleagues, suppliers and partners at any level of technical ability.

As a former IT Manager at a financial services firm, Adam has managed and executed large projects as well as leading a service desk and a team of technical engineers. At the very core of Adam’s focus, is matching the requirements of the organisation with technical solutions that deliver, whilst always considering client experience.

In late 2021, Adam worked with Offshore Payroll on a major client migration project from their legacy product to their new cloud-based (SaaS) platform. Adam is now excited to reconnect with Offshore Payroll clients as a Relationship Manager.

Jackie Helks - Client Experience Officer

Jackie is a customer service specialist with over 10 years’ experience in the luxury hospitality sector, her passion for client relations makes her ideally suited to support Offshore Payroll clients.

Major projects during her previous employment have seen the implementation of a new website and a new cloud-based (SaaS) web booking engine, as well as responsibility for overseeing onboarding, employee rotas and payroll.

Jackie endeavours to listen carefully to the needs of her clients, and makes sure to focus on their requirements, objectives and does whatever she can to support their goals. Jackie is certified in Zendesk Agent Support and Hubspot Inbound Marketing.

Combining her enthusiasm for creating a seamless, enjoyable journey for customers and a passion for the digital sector, Jackie is delighted to be a new member of the Offshore Payroll Team.

Luke Smith - Managing Director

Luke qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Big-4 firm KPMG and is the Managing Director of Purpose, a British award-winning accountancy business. Luke advises 50+ local businesses and has a depth of knowledge across industry sectors.

In 2019, Luke led the acquisition of Offshore Payroll Limited from the previous owners, seizing the opportunity to build a team around the business to drive forward the technological evolution and continued growth of the business.

Luke’s focus when supporting the growth of Offshore Payroll is to consider innovative ways to use the technology to understand the value of human resources. I believe that we can develop OP's existing platform to create new ways to understand profitability, which in turn will help businesses to be more intelligent in their decision-making.

Jeralie Pallot - Director

Jeralie was a member of the team involved in the acquisition of Offshore Payroll in 2019, while still active as Managing Director and owner of one of Jersey’s leading recruitment companies, Rowlands Recruitment. She has over 25 years’ of experience in the employment markets across NZ, Australia and Jersey and during that time gained extensive business experience in Payroll Services and a Remuneration Survey.

Jeralie is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and is also currently a Council Member of the Jersey Good Business Charter. Prior to this Jeralie served as a Member of the Employment Forum for 10 years, consulting on minimum wage rates and other employment-related issues as directed by the Social Security Minister, Jersey.

Jeralie is passionate about leveraging innovation and data to enhance the HR and employment sectors. Her appointment as a Director reflects her commitment to fostering the development of the company's offerings to better support clients and their businesses.

Ross Huelin MSc - Technology Director

Ross is a technology professional with IT experience spanning more than 18 years. He has architected, written, deployed and managed complex, multifaceted systems across many technologies, platforms, environments and frameworks. He has applied his scientific and mathematical background to the field of technology, bringing a systematic and rigorous approach to the challenges of modern development and security.

With a focus on security in cloud environments he has worked on many solutions within AWS, Azure and the Google Cloud Platform. He has delivered robust results which efficiently use the resources and technologies available, while maintaining best practice and sector leading continuity and recovery strategies.

Ross holds a Master’s degree in Physics, where he majored in computational modelling and advanced mathematical techniques.

Adam O’Neil BSc - Technology Director

Adam is an Information Technology expert with 17 years field experience in a diverse set of IT roles. His experience has crossed many aspects of IT in this time: systems development, architecture, policy, security, infrastructure and numerous others. Adam has experience coding in many languages, and has a broad technical skill base working with Windows and Linux servers. Adam has specific expert experience with SonicWall and Ubiquiti equipment, Teradici thin clients, IPSEC VPNs (StrongSwan) and general network infrastructure.

Adam holds a BSc degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and majored in cryptography. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server, and ITIL v3 qualified.
